Indian captain Virat Kohli’s immense success on the cricket field has earned him millions of fans across the world, but not many like the one he met on Tuesday, 1 October.

The 30-year-old batsman, who is India’s most successful captain in Test cricket, was clicked with a die-hard fan after a press conference in Visakhapatnam. The shirtless man was seen sporting a tattoo of Virat’s face on his chest.

On his back, the fan has got tattooed Kohli’s first name, his jersey number (18) as well as landmarks in his career including the 2008 Under-19 World Cup win, 2013 Arjuna Award and 2017 Padma Shri.

Captain Kohli has a chance of joining batting legends Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid as India begin their three-Test series against South Africa on Wednesday, 2 October.

Till date, only Tendulkar, Dravid and Sehwag have scored 1,000 or more runs against South Africa in Tests, and Kohli needs 242 runs to join them.

Kohli currently has 758 runs against the Proteas in nine test matches. Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is top of the list with 1741 runs in 25 Tests.

Sehwag has 1306 runs in 15 Tests against South Africa while Dravid has 1252 runs in 21 Tests.
