Currently serving a 12-month ban due to his involvement in the ball-tampering scandal, Australia captain Steve Smith got married to his "best-friend" and long-time girlfriend Dani Willis in Sydney on Saturday.
Smith’s wedding was attended by Darren Lehman, Pat Cummins and Shaun Marsh.
Along with David Warner, Smith was banned from all international and domestic cricket for a year while opening batsman Cameron Bancroft was exiled for nine months, for their part in attempting to alter the ball during the third Test in March.
While banned from state and international cricket, Smith is allowed to appear at club level in Australia and in domestic tournaments abroad. He recently scored a half-century for Toronto Nationals in his first tournament since being handed the ban.
