Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal gave a dream start to India in the first Test against South Africa in Visakhapatnam. Both the openers went on to stage a 317-run partnership for the first wicket.

The South African bowlers' body language dropped as both the openers kept on scoring runs.

Rohit scored a brilliant 176 off 244 balls on his debut as an opener whereas Mayank went on to score his maiden double hundred, scoring 215 off 371 balls.

Just when the South African team had lost all hope, they managed to get Rohit Sharma in the 82nd over. It took them another 27 overs to send Mayank back to the pavilion on the score of 215.

But what followed after both these wickets was a visual treat for every cricket fan. The whole South African team shook hands with both of them after their dismissals and congratulated them for their wonderful innings.

South African captain Faf Fu Plessis was also seen clapping after Mayank reached his double century.

Faf Du Plessis and his men showed great sportsman-spirit and made sure that the sport lives up to its name of ‘Gentleman’s Game’.
