Serena Williams Slays In a Tutu at US Open, Twitter in Awe

Serena Williams slays in a lavender tutu and the internet can’t get enough of it.

Serena Williams rocked a lavender tutu as she cruised into the third round of the 2018 US Open. Beating 101st-ranked Carina Witthoeft of Germany 6-2, 6-2, she has now set up a Williams vs Williams clash, facing elder sister Venus Williams in the next round.

After her win on Wednesday night at the Arthur Ashe stadium, Serena acknowledged the crowd with her trademark wave.

Her tutu outfit though, also won her applause, specially in light of the catsuit controversy from the French Open organisers.
