Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and her husband Shoaib Malik were blessed with a baby boy on Tuesday, 30 October.Pakistan cricketer Malik took to twitter to announce the news, and also said that Sania was “doing great and keeping strong as usual”.The couple have named the newborn Izhaan Mirza-Malik which means God's gift, as the parents feel that he is truly one.Sania delivered the baby at Rainbow Hospital in Hyderabad under the guidance of Dr Praneeti Reddy.Sania’s sister Anam Mirza too posted about the baby boy on Instagram.Sania and Malik, who got married in 2010, had announced her pregnancy in April.In an earlier interview, the ace tennis star had said that she and her cricketer-husband had decided that their child will have the surname 'Mirza-Malik'."Today, I will tell you a secret. My husband and I have spoken about it and we have decided that whenever we have a child, the child will have Mirza-Malik as a surname and not just Malik. So that's where we stand as a family including my husband. He actually wants a daughter," Sania said.The tennis star had then been away from the court for six months due to a condition called jumper's knee. We'll get through this!
