Another Historic Silver: Twitter Congratulates PV Sindhu on Win

PV Sindhu bagged a silver at the Asian Games silver medal after losing the final to Chinese Taipei shuttler and world no 1 Tai Tzu Ying.

This is the first silver medal won by an Indian in badminton at the Asian Games.

Ying was in control of the match from the start and outplayed Sindhu in the final of the women’s individual badminton event. Similar to her opponents record breaking silver - Ying becomes the first badminton player from Chinese Taipei to win a women’s singles badminton gold.
