In the 50km race walk final, a French athlete Yohann Diniz, pooped in his pants while the race but still finished at the eight place on Friday, according to Buzzfeed.
The race walker was leading the race for 30km and was a minute ahead of his opponents at one point of the race.
But since the conditions were really hot (86 degrees Fahrenheit) and the sun was beating on the athletes, Diniz started pooping and bleeding in his pants, 45 minutes into the race.
The Frenchman didn’t give up and put a sponge in his pants and kept going for another 20km.
However, Diniz couldn’t take it and collapsed after some time. After a few seconds he got up and continued walking.
Eventually, the Frenchman finished at the eight place. He completed the race 5 minutes and 45 seconds behind the gold medal winner.
