Twitter Praises Kohli & ABD for Finally Ending RCB’s Losing Streak

A combined effort by AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli saw Royal Challengers Bangalore successfully chase Kings XI Punjab’s 173, and register their maiden win of the season on Saturday, 13 April.

Kohli scored 67 off 53 balls while AB De Villiers was unbeaten on 59 off 38 balls to seal the deal for Bangalore. As always, skipper Kohli was anxious and jubilant throughout the chase.

The duo added an 85-run stand as the partnership guaranteed RCB their maiden win for the season.

Meanwhile, this was Punjab’s second loss on the bounce after they lost to Mumbai Indians in their previous game. On Saturday, Gayle’s 99 was also overshadowed by the combined effort of Kohli and De Villiers who were determined to bring RCB back to winning ways after six straight defeats.

Meanwhile Twitter was buzzing as wishes poured in for Virat Kohli and his RCB team for finally getting points on the board.
