Twitter Welcomes Dhawan’s Return to Form, Celebrates Mohali 100

They should have just set up a game at Mohali against Australia earlier, and there would have been no questions around Shikhar Dhawan.

The Indian opener quelled doubts over his form ahead of the World Cup with a magnificent century in the fourth ODI between India and Australia at Mohali on Sunday, 10 March – the 16th of his ODI career, but his first in 18 innings.

Dhawan had mustered only 22 runs in three prior innings in the five-match series, but back at the scene of his wondrous 187 on Test debut – against the same opposition, at that – the 33-year-old rediscovered his touch with a free-flowing knock, replete with boundaries galore.
