As India played against West Indies on Thursday, 28 June, fans in the stands cheered for Men in Blue.
Among the fans, Ziva Singh Dhoni was also present at Old Trafford in full spirits. India underlined their bowling might by chalking a huge 125-run victory over the West Indies in their World Cup group stage encounter to knock them out and put one foot in the semi-final.
In a video posted on Instagram, Ziva was seen cheering for the team with the Indian flag. ‘Go India!,’ she cheered while waving the flag in her hand as India cruised to victory.
After India won the match by 125 runs, filled with joy, Ziva posted a video of her celebrating the win:
Ziva has been regular with her presence at all matches that India plays. MS Dhoni’s most consistent cheerleader was earlier spotted supporting the team at the much talked about India vs Pakistan clash, where she was spotted with Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan:
India’s bowling was at it’s best as The Windies got all out for 143 runs in total. India won by 125 runs with Virat Kohli scoring his fourth consecutive 50 this World Cup.
Shami, the hat-trick hero from India's last game, was at his attacking best once again. MS Dhoni scored a total of 56 runs from 61 deliveries. He also took a catch which had everybody talking about his outstanding capabilities.
India will now be playing hosts England on Sunday, 30 June.
