Thanks to social media and the biopic on India’s star cricket player Mahendra Singh Dhoni, one may feel there’s not much left to know about the personal life of the former Indian captain. But the cricketer proved us all wrong.

In a recent conversation at a promotional event hosted by his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Dhoni revealed the name of his first crush, asking the audience to keep the information from his wife Sakshi Dhoni.

In what seemed to be a stroke of luck, the presenter at the event asked Dhoni to reveal only one letter of his first crush’s name, after which he guessed it, successfully.

After a little push from the presenter, a hesitant Dhoni revealed the name to the crowd. “Yes, her name is Swati. Don’t tell my wife, okay?” the cricketer said.

CSK have been putting their game forward this season. The much anticipated comeback of the team after two long years, has been nothing short of a treat for the franchise’s fans. With 14 points to their name already, the team stands second on the points table, second only to the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
