Rohit Sharma Reveals Name of Baby Girl, Shares Family Photo

The Indian cricketer took to Instagram to share a photo with his wife and baby.

Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma on Sunday, 6 January, revealed that his baby girl with wife Ritika Sajdeh has been named Samaira. The 31-year-old batsman took to Instagram to share a photo with his wife and baby.

Rohit could not be present to witness the birth of his first child on 30 December as he was part of the Indian team that won a historic Test match against Australia in Melbourne.

Subsequently, he left for Mumbai to join his wife, giving the fourth and final Test in Sydney a miss. Rohit is scheduled to join the ODI squad ahead of the limited-overs series that starts on the 12 January.

World No. 1-ranked India has taken a 2-1 lead in the four-match series and retained the Border-Gavaskar trophy.
