Serena Williams Wishes Herself a Very Happy 34 on Instagram!

Serena Williams wished herself a very happy birthday by posting a picture on Instagram.

The world number one in women’s tennis, Serena Williams turns 34 today. The American had an amazing year after winning three of the four grand slams.

Serena Williams was en course for winning all four slams in a single year after winning the Australian, French and the Wimbledon. But she suffered a heart-breaking loss at the US Open semi-finals to Roberta Vinci, which ended her hopes of being the first woman to achieve the feat after Steffi Graf in 1988.

But, she still managed to win four slams in a row from US Open 2014 to Wimbledon 2015. This was the second time she achieved this feat, she had won four slams in a row from French Open 2002 to Australian Open 2003.
