Claudio Ranieri, the Italian head coach of Leicester City, has been nominated as the English Premier League Coach of the Month for March. This is the second time he has been garnered with the honour, after he was awarded the same last November.
Leicester has maintained their pole position in the league standings with 69 points and six games remaining. They stand seven points clear of second-place Tottenham Hotspur.
The 64-year-old Ranieri led the Foxes to three 1-0 wins (over Watford, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace) and a 2-2 draw (against West Bromwich Albion) in March that solidified their position at the top of the standings.
Tottenham striker Harry Kane, meanwhile, was on Friday named the Premier League’s player of the month for March after scoring five goals in four games.
