Former India captain Bishan Singh Bedi feels that the BCCI needs to appoint a “strong coach” to guide the temperamental Test captain Virat Kohli, who has courted a lot of off-field controversies in recent times.
I believe Virat needs a good coach, who will be an able guide. That coach should be able to take charge of his temperament. He (Kohli) is so impulsive and it needs to change. Cricket is not kabaddi or kho-kho. If you want to play the game for a long time, you should be in control of your temperament.

2. BCCI’s Legal Costs is Rs 56 crore in Two Years
BCCI’s expenditure on legal matters in the last two years went up to Rs 56 crore, it was disclosed at its finance committee meeting on Thursday.
It is learnt that due to the legal expenses skyrocketing in the past two years, the finance committee headed by Jyotiraditya Scindia decided that infrastructure subsidy to the tune of Rs 50 crore granted to the affiliated state associations will not be increased to Rs 75 crore as was proposed for the year.
3. England 354/7 Against New Zealand in First Test
Ben Stokes has provided the gloss and Joe Root the glue as England recovered from a terrible start to reach 354 for 7 at the close on the opening day of the first Test against New Zealand at Lord’s.
