India clinched nine gold, seven silver and four bronze medals on the second day of the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship in Johannesburg on Sunday. The Indian women won a medal in each of the 10 weight categories in the tournament, according to ANI.
The gold medallists included Kiran (72 kg), Divya Kakran (68 kg) and Ritu Malik (65 kg) among others.
Pooja (76 kg) and Ravita (59 kg) were among the silver medallists while Kavita (76 kg) and Manu Tomar (72 kg) took the bronze medals.
India swept the greco roman category winning 10 gold medals and as many silver medals on the opening day of the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship in Johannesburg on Saturday.
