Pollard Hits Out at Manjrekar After Being Called ‘Brainless’

“You have verbal diarrhoea,” said Kieron Pollard to Sanjay Manjrekar.

Ex-Indian cricketer and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar called West Indian bowler and Mumbai Indians all-rounder Kieron Pollard “brainless” while commentating in a match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.

Kolkata Knight Riders posted a total of 178 runs in a thrilling match on Sunday. The match went down to the wire and Mumbai Indians chased it down on the penultimate ball of the match.

During the spirited run chase, Manjrekar took digs at the team as they kept losing wickets. But, the one aimed at Pollard didn’t go down well with the Trinidadian and he took to Twitter to respond to being called “brainless”.
