After more than a month into the sixth season of the Pro Kabaddi League, the U Mumba team has recorded many more wins than any other team in the competition. They lead Zone A with 56 points at the moment. The team has won 10 matches out of 14 in the competition so far.

In Zone B, it’s the Bengaluru Bulls, who are leading with 35 points. They have won 6 out of 9 matches.

As we move to the end of the Inter Zone Challenge Week for this month, here’s a look at seven standout performers in the tournament.

1. Siddharth Sirish Desai

Siddharth Sirish Desai has set the stage on fire in the Pro Kabaddi League. The 26-year-old currently leads the total points and raid points scored with 134 and 131 points respectively. While playing in his first-ever PKL season, Desai scored 15 raid points in his debut match.

The U Mumba player became the fastest to 50 raid points after just four games and also equaled the record for scoring the fastest 100 raid points (nine matches) in a season.

Pardeep Narwal, who is at the second place in the highest total point scorer list, has notched 122 total points in 11 matches. The Patna Pirates player has recorded a most points in a match of 17 with a not out percentage of 76.66 in the tournament so far.

Narwal, who has a raid strike rate of 47.14, has scored 8 Super 10s in this season.

Vikash Khandola has the third most total points to his name in this season. The Haryana Steelers player has earned 112 total points in 13 matches. He recorded a most points in a match of 15 and a not out percentage of 77.35.

He has scored 5 Super 10s with an average raid points per match of 8.46.

Ajay Thakur has notched the fourth highest number of total points in the tournament so far. He has scored 110 total points in 11 matches. Thakur has recorded a most points in a match of 20 and a not out percentage of 77.89.

He has scored 4 Super 10s and has an average raid points per match of 9.9.

5. Pawan Kumar Sehrawat

Pawan Kumar Sehrawat has scored more points in the first five games of the sixth season as compared to the total points scored in the last four seasons. Second on the total points earned list, Sehrawat has scored 102 total points in 8 matches. He has recorded a most points in a match of 20.

The 22-year-old, who has scored 5 Super 10s in the tournament, has an average raid points per match of 12.12.

6. Fazel Atrachali

UP Yoddha’s Nitesh Kumar is second on the most tackle points list with 49 points. The 21-year-old has scored 5 Super Tackles and 2 High 5s in the tournament so far.

He has recorded total points of 50 with an average tackles per match of 3.14. He has a tackle strike rate of 51.76.
