Canada Calling: YUWA’s Kusum Invited To Inspire Others | Video

Born in Jharkhand, helped by Yuwa, Kusum is currently in Canada speaking at two FIFA Women’s World Cup conventions.

15-year-old Kusum Kumari’s is part of YUWA India, an organisation that uses footballer to empower young girls in Jharkhand.

Having travelled with her football team to Spain and America to play tournaments in the past, Kusum has now been invited to Canada to deliver speeches on the sidelines of the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The Quint spoke to the young champion before she departed for her trip.
