Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirmed on his official social media accounts that his next club will be Manchester United.

United has not made any comment about Ibrahimovic, who has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the recent weeks.

The 34-year-old Swedish striker, who retired from international duty after his country’s exit from the European Championship, said on his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts that he will be joining United.

He would be linking up with former coach Jose Mourinho, who got on well with Ibrahimovic during their time together at Inter Milan.

Ibrahimovic, whose contract with PSG had terminated at the end of the last season, played for Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan before moving to the French club.

The Swedish player has netted 392 goals in 677 matches in his club career. He scored 50 goals in the last season.

Ibrahimovic has won 12 trophies with PSG.
