Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni won the toss, and chose to bowl against Delhi Capitals in the crucial Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday, 10 May.
‘We anyway wanted to bat first so it’s a good toss to lose,’ says Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer, who is fielding an unchanged side. CSK on the other hand have replaced Murali Vijay with Shardul Thakur in their playing eleven.
The winner of this match will meet Mumbai Indians in the final, while the loser will be knocked out.

On the match-up between the ‘Dad’s Army’ and the ‘Kid’s Army’, Dhoni says, “Talking points are always good for the game. But it doesn’t really bother us because at the end of the day if you by facts, facts are facts. And also you need to be a bit aged to have experience on your side. Overall, there are positives about everything, there are negatives about everything”.
