Delhi Capitals move to the top of the points table with 14 points against their name as they went past Rajasthan Royals to win the game by 6 Wickets on 22 April, Tuesday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

They inched past Chennai Super Kings in terms of the run rate as the yellow army too, have 14 points up their sleeves after eleven matches.

Delhi Capitals won the toss, and elected to bowl. Batting first, Rajasthan piled up a massive score of 191/6, courtesy, Ajinkya Rahane’s 105 off 58 deliveries. Chasing 192, Rishabh Pant (78 off 36) and Shikhar Dhawan (54 off 27) helped Delhi chase down the score quite comfortably.

While Delhi now sits on the top of the points table, Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad occupy second, third and fourth place respectively.

Kings Xl Punjab are placed at fifth position and has won 5 out of their 10 games and will be looking to be a lot more consistent heading forward. Kolkata Knight Riders occupy the sixth spot. They have now lost 5 consecutive games and will be looking to make strong amends if they are to secure a spot in the play-offs.

Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore occupy the seventh and the eight spot respectively. All is not lost for both the teams, but it will take a Herculean effort from here on to change their fortunes.
