Heart-throb David Beckham just turned a year sexier. From making sure number 7 (and 23) reminds us of him to making us weak in the knees with his sultry looks, the now 43-year-old Beckham has given everybody #goals.
On his birthday, we look at five reasons why we get shivers down our spines every time we think of THE David Beckham.
1. A Doting Father
Okay, admit it, women all over the world have a weakness for men with a baby and this man, he has five! Setting aside how great he looks with his children, let’s not forget the loving father he is.

Come what may however, Beckham will do anything for his family and he makes sure everybody understands that.
2. Supporting Husband, #RelationshipGoals
He’s a romantic alright. Here’s a story for you: Both Victoria and David share a love for wine, and so, Beckham surprised his wife with her very own winery in Napa, which is now open only for close friends and family.
*Cue the Awwws*
And here’s another story that’ll really make you want to have their relationship.
For their 13th wedding anniversary, David apparently made Victoria a self-written book.
Yeah, okay, way to set the bar really high.
3. Those Curves...Corner Kicks We Mean
Yeah, yeah, we know where your mind wandered. David Beckham set his benchmark in the world of football since the day he started. In May 2013, when he said he was going to retire, we definitely shed a tear, or more. Now every time we see the #7 or #23 but mostly #7 on a jersey, we will think of him because no one can really Bend it Like Beckham. Right? Right.
4. Charitable Lad
Victoria and he own a charity called the Victoria and David Beckham Charitable Trust, which provides wheelchairs to children in need. In addition, David travels a lot as the ambassador for UNICEF. He even raises money for Comic and Sports Relief.
UGH. Be still my beating heart.
5. And Finally...He’s Just So Hot!
EVERYONE agrees that David Beckham is one of those people who age like wine. Every year he looks better and better. How does he do it? We will never know. All we can say is...thank you for being the eye candy we all need.
