British Formula One (F1) driver Jenson Button has split with wife Jessica Michibata after a year of marriage, his spokesperson confirmed to the BBC on Wednesday.
The pair is believed to have parted ways amicably after tying the knot last December in a secret ceremony in Hawaii.
Button’s spokesman confirmed, “there is no one else involved”.

The former F1 world champion and the Japanese-Argentine model had confirmed their marriage on Twitter on New Year’s Eve last year.
The couple had broken up in 2010 after meeting two years back, but then patched things up to get married last year.
