Cricketer Yuvraj Singh to Appear in Web Series ‘Inside Edge 2’?

Yuvraj Singh reportedly jumped at the idea of being a part of ‘Inside Edge 2’.

Speculation is rife that if the dates work out, Yuvi will be seen playing himself in the second season of Amazon Prime India’s Inside Edge starring Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chadha, on the request of Angad Bedi, who also plays a part in the series.

“The makers were toying with the idea of roping in a cricketer for their next season, as it would lend more authenticity to it. Yuvraj’s name cropped up several times.”

Inside Edge is based on a fictional T20 cricket team, Mumbai Mavericks that plays in the Powerplay League. After the success of the first season, the second season is all set to go into production after the script is locked.

Few other cricketers are also being considered for the show, whose names will be announced soon.
