Former India captain Rahul Dravid became the fifth Indian to be inducted in the ICC Hall of Fame on 2 July. Off-spinner Bishan Singh Bedi, All-rounder Kapil Dev, opening batsman Sunil Gavaskar and leg-spinner Anil Kumble are the other Indians which are part of the Hall of Fame.
Dravid received the honour along with former Australia captain Ricky Ponting and former English women’s cricketer Claire Taylor.
The U-19 and India A coach was presented with a commemorative cap by Sunil Gavaskar ahead of the fifth ODI between India and West Indies in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday.
The former number three batsman, who led India to many memorable victories, is the fourth highest scorer in Tests with 13,288 runs in 164 matches.

Dravid, who scored 48 international hundreds, thanked his family, coaches friends and colleagues for their support during his career.
My parents, my young family, my wife and two kids, my so many friends, colleagues that I have played with and played against who have enriched my game, my many coaches right from the time I was a boy in school and the coaches that I have played for India have really helped me develop my potential.
