A long and intense home season for India and the IPL now seems to be bearing the brunt of it, with yet another star cricketer pulling out of the T20 league.
ESPNcricinfo is reporting that Ravichandran Ashwin is the latest name in a growing injury list and will miss the IPL due to a sports hernia. The off-spinner is slated to be out of action for six to eight weeks and is the second player from the Rising Pune Supergiant camp to withdraw his name.
Ashwin, 30, however is expected to be fit in time for the Champions Trophy in England this June.
