While other teams are gearing up for IPL2017, Kolkata Knight Riders is recovering from shock after Andre Russell’s departure. Russell has the ability to hit the ball all over the park and he can add valuable runs to the teams’ total. But now KKR has replaced him with New Zealand's all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme.
New Zealand’s Colin de Grandhomme has replaced Andre Russell in KKR for the upcoming 10th season of Indian Premier League.
Russell has played a total of 34 matches in the IPL. Adding to his all-round ability, he made 578 runs (37 sixes and 49 fours) and has taken 31 wickets.
New Zealand's Colin de Grandhomme is also an all-rounder, but not as efficient as Russell. Colin de Grandhomme has played eight T20 matches and scored just 74 runs and he only has three wickets to his credit.
