Young spinner Rashid Khan is grabbing eyeballs for being sold at a spectacular Rs 9 crore at the IPL 2018 Auction. Son of a car wheel importer, Khan is slowly garnering fame for his mastery over the craft.
It is noteworthy to note that Khan has more than doubled his pay from 4 crore at the last season of the IPL. Coincidently, he was playing for Sunrisers in the last edition also.
All of 19, this young spinner hailing from one of the deadliest provinces in strife-torn Afghanistan is the centre of attraction for Afghani media who seem to be jubilant at his success in the 11th edition of the IPL.
Not just this, Khan is doing wonders in the Australian Big Bash League currently where he plays for the Strikers.
