India registered a 59-run win in the second ODI at Port of Spain on Sunday, 11 August, to ensure they won’t go home with a series loss against West Indies.

After the first One Day International was abandoned due to unsuitable playing conditions, the Men in Blue registered a comprehensive win against the hosts to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match rubber.

After Virat Kohli’s 120 and Shreyas Iyer’s 71 helped India post 279/7 in their 50 overs, the Windies were bowled out for 210 in 42 overs courtesy a four-wicket haul by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Here’s a look at all the records and numbers from the second ODI at Trinidad.

  • India's magnificent 59-run win over West Indies is their fifth in successive matches (completed) at Port of Spain since 2011 in ODIs.  Both teams have won seven matches each out of 15 contested at this venue (NR 1).
