India defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the Blind Cricket World Cup semi-final in Ajman on Wednesday. India first bowled out Bangladesh for 256 runs and then chased down the total in 23 overs.

Durga Rao was the pick of the bowlers for India, picking up 3 wickets for 20 runs. Deepak and Prakash picked up 2 wickets each and Mahender and Rambir took one wicket each.

During India’s chase, opener Ganesh slammed 112 runs off 69 balls and had great support from his partner Deepak, who scored 53 runs off 44 balls.

After the duo put India in the driver’s seat, Venkatesh (19) and Prakash (16) finished the match with 17 overs to spare.

India will face either Pakistan or Sri Lanka in the final. If the team is given clearance to play in Lahore, then the final will be played on Sunday, otherwise the final will be held in Sharjah on Friday.
