How many of us were trained with an international sports team as a 6-year-old? That’s a strange question you must ask yourself, unless your name is Archie Schiller.

Six-year-old Archie dreams of being a skipper of the senior Australian cricket team. He calls himself a leg-spinner and claims to be a huge fan of ‘Gary the Goat’ (Nathan Lyon). He had been training with the Australian players in Adelaide ahead of the first Test and received the team jersey this Tuesday.

Apart from excelling at winning everybody’s hearts, Archie is all set to get Indian cricketer Virat Kohli out, as he claims.

Archie suffers from a long-term heart condition because of which he had to undergo three open heart surgeries so far. This, however, does not stop him from living his dreams.

Reports say little Archie has even ditched watching television completely to concentrate completely to prepare to lead up to the Melbourne Test. Quite touched by the little boy’s spirit, Australian coach Justin Langer said, “Archie will be joining the brotherhood. He's been through some tough times spent, a lot of time in a hospital bed, so anyway that we can help to put a smile on his face, it's the very least we can do for him”.
