Panneerselvam Meeting With Governor Concludes
O Panneerselvam’s meeting with the Governor has concluded. His convoy was seen making its way back to Greenways Road, where his residence is.
Palanisamy Stakes Claim to Form Govt
The Palanisamy camp met the Tamil Nadu Governor and staked claim to form the government. A representative from the camp who also met the Governor along with Palanisamy said they have presented their reprsented, and claimed majority.
Amma’s rule must continue. All AIADMK MLAs have unanimously chosen Palanisamy as their leader. They (OPS camp) have only 8 MLAs. We have 124 MLAs. We have also given the list to the governor, he said he’ll look into the details. We are hopeful that governor will not let down democracy.
TN Guv to Meet Both Factions Tonight
Tamil Nadu Governor Vidyasagar Rao will meet E Palanisamy at 7:30 pm, followed by Panneerselvam an hour later, at 8:30.
According to media reports, the Governor has asked both the factions to prove their strength with letters of support. He is likely to call a floor test on Friday.
