Political Vendetta At New Low: Mamata On Tapas Paul’s Arrest

The CBI arrested Tapas Paul on Friday in connection with the alleged Rose Valley chit fund scam.

Hitting out at the Narendra Modi government for the arrest of Trinamool MP Tapas Paul in connection with the Rose Valley chit fund scam, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday said that her party will not be deterred by the Centre’s actions. In a statement, she said:

Modi babu, arrest all my MPs and MLAs if you want. You don’t need to summon us. We are ready, but we cannot be deterred.
