The Jawaharlal Nehru University students’ union took out a protest march to the Parliament on 18 November — the first day of the winter session of the parliament – against a massive hike in their hostel fees.

Technically, the demands for a rollback of the hostel fee hike has been going on for three weeks, leading to the bigger protest only earlier last week.
