How Food Affects Your Brain: Diet and Mental Health Explained

How does food affect your brain?

Do you feel low on energy all the time? Lethargic? Like you don’t want to get out of bed or even move?

It may have something to do with the food you eat.

Eating food which is unhealthy or ‘junk’ can cause problems like depression, fatigue, lethargy and mood swings. Now, what food can you consume to fix these? What should you eat to avoid these problems?

There’s a relationship between what goes in your stomach and what goes on in your mind. There’s substantial research about the relationship between food and mental health, which proves that your gut can influence your head.

So, I’ll first tell you about my own experiences with and then talk some science about why this happens and what you can eat to fix your mental health.
