It was a night to remember for the Triple H fans in India, as he took down Jinder Mahal at the WWE event in New Delhi on Saturday.
Jinder Mahal was quite confident to defeat the WWE legend as he thought that since 1.3 billion Indian people are behind him, he had a great chance.
But the Indo-Canadian wrestler was put through a very difficult fight. Everyone thought the match was over when Triple H pulled off his finishing move The Pedigree, but then again Jinder found a way to carry on fighting.
At one stage of the match, Jinder managed to lock Triple H’s ankles. The WWE legend refused to tap out and overturned the situation.
Finally, Triple H carried out The Pedigree again to finish the match.
In the other big match of the night, Braun Strowman took down Kane. The crowd at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium was looking forward to watch Kane, given his interesting history at the WWE so far.
Kane, was the one, who was bringing in other weapons such as tables and chairs. But that backfired, as Strowman managed to pick up Kane and smash him on the table to finish the match.
Other than many Indian fans at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Bollywood star Varun Dhawan was also present at the event. Dhawan tweeted pictures with WWE stars Sasha Banks and Jinder Mahal.
