Student of the Year 2 actor Tara Sutaria was among the celebrity showstoppers at Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019. The Bollywood debutante walked the ramp for Ritu Kumar and channelled the ’70s in a short, embroidered black dress with tassels, white full-sleeved blouse and knee-length black boots.

The Winter/Festive edition of Lakme Fashion Week 2019 kicked off on 21 August and features a mixed bag of young, upcoming designers and veterans, including Sahib Bhatia, Akanksha Aggarwal, Payal Singhal and Abraham & Thakore. The event kicked off with a showcase by Manish Malhotra with Katrina Kaif as showstopper. Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar, Hardik Pandya, Lisa Haydon, Diana Penty, Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur were among the other recent showstoppers at Lakme Fashion Week.
Tara Sutaria made her Bollywood debut in May opposite Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday in Punit Malhotra directorial Student of the Year 2, which was produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. She will be seen next in Milap Zaveri directorial Marjaavaan, which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh and hits theatres on 22 November.
