Sania Mirza is all set to feature in yet another Wimbledon in her career. The tennis star’s rise began on the courts at The All England Club during her junior career days, way back in 2003 and she also won her first women’s doubles Grand Slam title at Wimbledon as well.

The Hyderabadi player won the girls’ doubles title at Wimbledon in 2003 with Russia's Alisa Kleybanova and then clinched the senior Wimbledon title in 2015 with Switzerland’s Martina Hingis.

Sania Mirza first rose to fame when she won the girls’ doubles title at Wimbledon in 2003. She became the first Indian woman to win a title at a Grand Slam event.

She made her senior Wimbledon debut in 2005. The six-time Grand Slam champion advanced to the second round in singles.

But crashed out in the first round in ladies’ doubles, partnering Russia’s Anna Chakvetadze.

Mirza reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon for the first time in ladies’ doubles in 2011. She partnered Russia’s Elena Vesnina.
