Everyone is waiting for Sacred Games Season 2 with bated breath, ahead of its release on 15 August. While we wait for the show, Netflix has released some photographs from a swanky new photo shoot of the entire cast of Sacred Games. The pictures show the cast in an all-new retro, edgy, and stylish look.

Starring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kalki Koechlin, Pankaj Tripathi, Ranvir Shorey, Surveen Chawla, Luke Kenny, and Jatin Sarna, these images showcase a metamorphosis of the actors’ gritty on-screen personas into their ultra-glam, uber chic avatars.

The stars were styled by celebrity stylists Tanya Ghavri and Mohit Rai and behind the lens for the shoot, was Rohan Shrestha. To give them a retro, as well as a funky look, the stylists opted for a combination of suits, sneakers, sweaters, and jeans in floral geometric patterns. Since the shooting of the series, this is the first time the entire cast was brought together.

Netflix also released a behind-the-scenes video of the photo shoot and it gives us some exciting glimpses into all the fun that went into the making of these photographs.
The trailer for the second season was released on 9 July and it promises to be an action-packed thriller going deeper into the mystery of the “save the city of Mumbai in 25 days” plot, which kickstarted the show. Several new characters enter the show this season. Kalki Koechlin, Luke Kennry and Ranvir Shorey being the prime entries. While Kalki seems to be associated with Guruji’s cult in some way, Ranvir seems to be involved in the investigation.
In season 2 Neeraj Ghaywan (director of Masaan) replaces Vikramaditya Motwane as director for Saif’s portions, while Anurag Kashyap continues to be director of Nawazuddin’s section.
Sacred Games is based on the 2006 novel by the same name, written by Vikram Chandra, and has been adapted by writers Varun Grover, Smita Singh and Vasant Nath for the screen.
