In Pics: Priyanka Chopra & Team Wrap ‘The Sky Is Pink’ in Style

Priyanka Chopra flew down to India last week to shoot a song from her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink (working title), helmed by Margarita with a Straw director Shonali Bose. The film stars Priyanka and Farhan Akhtar as a married couple, with Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf playing the roles of their children.

The team celebrated the film’s wrap with food and laughter. Priyanka took to Instagram to write a heartfelt note about the journey.

And it’s a wrap. This movie is special to me on so many levels. Not just because @roykapurfilms and @rsvpmovies (Sid and ronnie) partnered with me on my first Hindi production.. but also took the chance on me to bring to life a character and a true story that needed to be told. @faroutakhtar you made an amazing co actor all over again with all the laughter and fun!(you were missed tonight) and my amazing @zairawasim_ and @rohitsaraf10 who I’ve made friends for life with! The Sky Is Pink is based on the short life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who was born with an immune deficiency disorder and was later diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. Zaira will be seen playing the role of Aisha.
