Fashion designer-du-jour Abu Jani celebrated his birthday on Wednesday night with a grand party inviting the friends, family and a whole bunch of Bollywood celebrities. Among those spotted arriving at Abu Jani’s place in Mumbai included young star of the moment Sara Ali Khan, who just received her first Filmfare Award. Also seen were Sara’s mom Amrita Singh, AndhaDhun star Tabu, yesteryear diva Dimple Kapadia, author and designer Shweta Bachchan, producer Rhea Kapoor and Suzanne Khan.
Abu Jani is one half of designer label Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, who have been the go-to duo for the recent slate of celebrity weddings. They’ve dressed Nita Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Priyanka Chopra, Sophie Turner and Deepika Padukone for multiple wedding ceremonies. Apart from that, they’re a classic staple on Bollywood red carpets.
Sara Ali Khan meanwhile is shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2 with Karthik Aaryan and their jodi is stirring up a storm.
