A memorial service was arranged on Thursday, 7 December, at Prithvi Theatre, in honour of the actor-filmmaker.

A memorial service was arranged on Thursday, 7 December, at Prithvi Theatre, in honour of its patron Shashi Kapoor, who passed away on 4 December. The veteran actor established the iconic Mumbai institution in 1978 with wife Jennifer Kendal. The Kapoor family along with film and theatre celebs and fans have gathered together to pay their respects to the much loved actor-filmmaker.

Apart from the Kapoor family, also attending the service are Shashi Kapoor’s colleagues Rekha, Hema Malini, Rakesh Roshan, Jeetendra, Kabir Bedi, Gulzar, Poonam Dhillon and others.
