Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been busy shooting for their upcoming film Brahmastra in Varanasi. They were recently spotted paying obeisance at the Kashi Vishwanath temple. Photos of the couple have surfaced online with Ranbir dressed in white with a rudraksh mala and chandan tika smeared on his forehead and Alia in a lemon yellow salwar kameez.
Now, the duo have returned to Mumbai after wrapping up their schedule. They were snapped coming out of the airport. While Ranbir kept it casual by wearing jeans and a black t-shirt, Alia looked beautiful in a neon green outfit and funky shades.
In the film, Ranbir reportedly plays a DJ who leaves home against his father’s wishes and discovers he has superpowers along the way. Director Ayan Mukerji revealed that his character’s name was initially meant to be Rumi but was later changed to Shiva.
