‘Surgical strikes’, a newly added set of words in the English language, have no literal translation. However, in a period of merely three days, they have become embedded in the consciousness of the country. This strike seems like a logical culmination of the ‘muscular nationalism’ this country has witnessed in the last three years. Yet, there is a very long way to go for this notion of nationalism to take root in the country.
