Considering that the score line in the last round of Assembly elections before the third anniversary of Narendra Modi's assumption of power was 3-2 in the favour of the Congress, one can only say that his approval rating has been average.

True, the final line-up of winners became 4-1 because the Prime Minister's factotums were able to dislodge the Congress from its No 1 position in Goa and Manipur with some nimble politicking.
