A major reason for their success is that the relations between the BJP and its ideological parent, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and also with other organisations in the Sangh Parivar, have never been more intimate and harmonious in the party’s 41-year-old history than now. But it wasn’t always like this.
