Watch the Dumbest Car Thief who Hits Himself With a Brick

A CCTV camera has caught on tape a car thief who ends up hurting himself in an attempt to steal a white Mercedes in Ireland.

The wannabe thief is seen throwing a brick at the car window but it bounces back and ends up hurting him. 

The cops saw the CCTV footage of the act and couldn’t help laughing. 

The hapless thief was found “stone cold on the ground” with his face “in ribbons” by the car’s owner Gerry Brady.

At first Brady thought the man had been attacked and spent a few minutes trying to help. When the man came to he first demanded money for a taxi, then threatened to burn Brady’s pub, then said he would tell police Brady had beaten him up, Brady told Independent.ie.
