In a bizarre incident, a Pakistani news anchor was hit by a ball of fire while he was hosting a live TV show. The video of the mishap, which shook the Neo TV Network’s anchor, has gone viral ever since.
Farid Rais, a senior anchor at the Pakistani Urdu channel Neo TV Network, was holding a panel discussion when a ball of fire hit him suddenly.
In the footage that has been doing rounds on social media, Rais is seen posing a question to the panellists, moments before a loud bursting sound is heard in the background. And just in a matter of seconds, a ball of fire hits him out of nowhere, leaving him startled.
Taken aback by the unfortunate incident, Rais immediately leaves his chair, even as the panellist keeps responding to the anchor’s question.
The cause of the fire was not known at the time of writing this report.
