Turkish Flight Diverted to Casablanca Due to Bomb Threat    

A Turkish Airlines flight en-route to Sao Paulo has made an emergency landing Casablanca after a note onboard warned of a bomb.

A Turkish Airlines flight en route to Sao Paulo has declared an emergency after a note with the word “bomb” was found in of the toilets. The plane has now landed at Casablanca airport, a spokeswoman for the airline said.

The airline says it is standard procedure to make an emergency landing under such circumstances. The airline said the Boeing 777 with the flight number TK15 is carrying 256 people.

The passengers were being evacuated and a search was underway to find any explosives, reports Al Jazeera.
